Miette, who created this website, and who has been a tireless lover of fiction, promoter of fiction, disseminator of fiction in all of its forms, especially read aloud, has started a publishing venture, WHISKEY TIT. The fact that her first book will be GAHA: Babes of the Abyss, is icing on a cake I would have happily eaten plain. Miette’s various web ventures have been witty, learned, cockeyed, true, visceral, impatient and anti-authoritarian to the core. She sees a situation, thinks something should be done and does it. Which is wonderful when you consider the world of mindless blather we inhabit. And it’s not like she was born to do this one particular thing, start a publishing company. That comes solely from her desire to share writing she loves.
